The residuals of the National Tequila Party Movement (woman-led counter movement to the Tea Party based out of Arizona and Nebraska) continues to pay off.  The Idaho Tequila Party leader, Mary Jo Torrez, was the first woman to get out the Latino vote in southern Idaho sparking help an support from Idaho Democrats.

Now we are seeing the launch of the Idaho Democratic Party Hispanic Caucus unfold!

This is needed and we invite others in the Boise, Idaho, area to come to the event this Saturday!

Launch of the Idaho Democratic Party Hispanic Caucus

The Hispanic population in Idaho has been growing at an exponential rate, and is a community that is too often overlooked when it comes to making policies, and is under represented in Idaho government at the local, state, and national level.

It is with this in mind that we invite you to please join us for the kick-off of the Idaho Democratic Hispanic Caucus on
February 23rd from 12-1:30 pm at Boise Centre on the Grove. Tickets are $25.

Come be empowered and inspired by our luncheon speakers Senator Luz Robles from Utah and Jimmy Matta from Northwest Regional Council of Carpenters.

Please stay for the caucus planning meeting from 1:30-4:00 pm. The session will be facilitated by Ruben Gallego from Arizona Strategies 360.

(Above) August 2012 — After registering new Latino voters in Idaho, they rocked the vote Mariachi-style! Mary Jo Torrez and tequila party members did an amazing job in Idaho and she will hold it down and continue to politically educate Latinos on who is immigrant-friendly and who is not!
